We are an independent publisher and registered charity (non-profit organisation) dedicated to making available the work of Rudolf Steiner in English translation. We care a great deal about the content of our books and have hundreds of titles available – as printed books, ebooks and in audio formats.
Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) called his spiritual philosophy “anthroposophy”, meaning “wisdom of the human being”. As a highly developed seer, he based his work on direct knowledge and perception of spiritual dimensions. He initiated a modern and universal “science of spirit”, accessible to anyone willing to exercise clear and unprejudiced thinking.
From his spiritual investigations Steiner provided suggestions for the renewal of many activities, including education (both general and special), agriculture, medicine, economics, architecture, science, philosophy, religion and the arts. Today there are thousands of schools, clinics, farms and other organizations involved in practical work based on his principles.

Unlike other works on this theme, Sergei Prokofieffs short book is not a straightforward introduction. Presupposing an acquaintance with the basic principles of anthroposophy, it focuses instead on the central Christological insights which form the core of Rudolf Steiners philosophy.

He relates this to today's all-too-common experience of loneliness in relation to the experience of individuality. In contrast, he points to the dawning ......

The remarkable discussions in this volume took place between Rudolf Steiner and workers at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland. The varied subjects were chosen by his audience at Steiner's suggestion. He took their questions, to which he generally gave immediate answers. The astonishing nature of these responses—their insight, knowledge, ......
Finding unity with Christ is not a given; it depends on turning the ego that provides our sense of experiencing ourselves as a unique being into an instrument of loving perception that connects with other beings. Learning to do this makes the path to Christ a path of self-knowledge, where the freedom to make mistakes and consequent error ......

Hailed by Plato as the Tenth Muse of ancient Greek poetry, Sappho is inarguably antiquity's greatest lyric poet. Born over 2,600 years ago on the Greek island of Lesbos, and writing amorously of women and men alike, she is the namesake lesbian. What's left of her writing, and what we know of her, is fragmentary. Shrouded in mystery, she is ......
