Author:
Dr Isabelle Schupak is a Melbourne-based doctor, classically trained violinist,
and debut children’s picture book author with a love for storytelling that sparks
curiosity and meaningful connection. A writer at heart, her creative essays and
opinion pieces have appeared in the Australian Doctor’s Medical Observer
and Pulse – Voices from the Heart of Medicine, where she reflects on the
emotional depth, challenges, and unexpected beauty of life in medicine.
Outside the clinic, Isabelle is passionate about educating and inspiring children
through stories that celebrate individuality and nurture a deeper awareness of
the natural world. Her work encourages young readers to engage thoughtfully
with their environment and recognise their capacity to make a lasting, positive
impact.

Illustrator:
Lauren is an illustrator, graphic designer, artist and educator. Based in her
home studio in Adelaide, South Australia, Lauren spends time illustrating
children’s books, exploring the natural world and developing workshops in art,
drawing fundamentals and environment design.
