Managing Quality: A Multi-disciplinary Approach provides a comprehensive review and critical analysis of quality management discourses and techniques by drawing on a number of management disciplines such as operations management, HRM, organizational behaviour, strategy, marketing and organization theory. Managing Quality differentiates itself from existing textbooks not only through the multi-disciplinary approach adopted but more importantly through its critical engagement with organizational and societal dilemmas brought about by the unprecedented importance accorded to quality and the consumer in recent times. Managing Quality will be essential reading for undergraduate students of operations and quality management, as well as being of significant appeal to MBA students. The book will be useful reading for students of HRM, organization theory and the sociology of organizations.
